A number of weeks ago, the province of Manitoba announced the newest requirements for the vaccination of students who wish to participate in inter-scholastic sport.
In short, all students who wish to continue to participate in school based inter-scholastic training and competitions must provide proof of vaccination or be subjected to regular COVID-19 testing in order to be remain eligible to participate/play. Specific details about these newest regulations and their enforcement can be obtained from the individual schools and/or mhsaa.ca .
These requirements will come into effect December 6, 2021.
