KPAC
OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD MEET

Selkirk Community Stadium
Tuesday & Thursday, May 24 & 26, 2011
Raindates: Monday May 30 and Tuesday May 31

To all Track and Field Coaches:

Please find enclosed information concerning our KPAC outdoor meet: schedules, meet records, KPAC by-laws, and entry information. The MHSAA provincial handbook provides information concerning the Provincial competition scheduled for June 9,10, and 11, 2011.

We will be doing a sticker meet. Please make sure the stickers are legible. You must also hand in a MHSAA Eligibility form, in case I have issues reading the names! Each school is permitted three entries per individual event per category and two entries per relay per category. Each individual competitor may compete in four events, at least one of which must be a relay. Note: multi event athletes may compete in the multi events (long jump, 100m, shot put, 800m), one individual event, plus a relay.

In declaring classification standings, points in individual events and relays will be awarded to eighth place. In field events, the top 8 athletes will receive 3 more attempts after the initial 3 trials, except for multi event athletes who will receive only 3 attempts (see “scoring” KPAC).

All entries for the MHSAA provincial meet will be done by the KPAC convenor. In order to facilitate a smooth entry process, each school coach is asked to confirm all of their athletes’ intent to participate by May 16, 12:30 pm. Changes cannot be accommodated after this point. Thanks in advance for your prompt attentions to this matter. Please be sure to email athletes names who obtained a provincial standard at a different meet by June 4th as well.
