Earlier today (Thursday, May 19) East St Paul rec centre informed the KPAC soccer convener that the facility will be closed due to excessively wet fields (standing water).
The KPAC convener along with the relevant stakeholders are looking at possible solutions for rescheduling these games. We ask for everyone's patience as they navigate this unfortunate circumstance.
The soccer convener has been informed by East St. Paul Rec Centre that their fields will be closed/off limits today due to the rain and resultant standing water on/around the fields.
Furthermore, but not yet confirmed, the fields may be also closed for usage tomorrow.
Coaches and staff supervisors of these teams are asked to be vigilant in checking their emails for further updates as they arise.
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may cause, but as you can understand we at KPAC do not control the weather and the resultant effects it has on the play ability of outdoor facilities. -(But wouldn't that be cool if we did ;)
