Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! With it, come opportunities and challenges, both academic and athletic. The KPAC zone has a proud tradition of excellence in performance and leadership on and off the field of play. Our athletes and coaches continually rank at the top in provincial competition, supported by our teacher-supervisors, administrators, parents, guardians, and school communities.
To support my point: A
“tip of the cap” to Donnie Smith of Garden City Collegiate for being named the
Grey Cup Legacy Male Coach of the Year in June at the MHSAA’s AGM. You can read more about Mr. Smith’s
accomplishments in the post on the KPAC website.
Make the most of those opportunities and challenges you face
this year. “Why not you?” Someone’s going to get picked for that team;
why not you? Someone’s going to make
that final; why not you? Someone’s going
to win that championship; why not you? Believing it is the first step – then go
out and put in the work.
Best wishes to all of our KPAC sports community. To steal a phrase from Murdoch’s Mr P: Make
it a great year!
Scott Gurney
KPAC President
