As Manitoba struggles through the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is with great hope and excitement that we look forward to returning to interscholastic athletic competitions in the 2021-22 school year.
Although it is too early to make any determinations of what next year will look like, the KPAC executive along with the individual sport convenors are diligently looking at ways to safely offer these sport opportunities when we return to school in September of 2021.
The decisions governing return to sport competitions in September will remain in the hands of the provincial sport organizations (PSOs), the member school divisions and the individual sport convenors.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue to follow the current health orders and take advantage of the opportunity to get vaccinated. The sooner we can curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the sooner we can safely return to sport.
Until then, stay safe and healthy everyone.
